When I discover a new foodie find in my neighbourhood it makes me giddy!

An Instagram is where I first discovered Lox + Schmear. Only 2 months old and it's quickly becoming a neighbourhood favourite. The interior is cozy with a minimalist design, crisp white walls that serve as the back drop to large framed family photos.

Located on the North side of St Clair Ave between Glenholme Ave & Appleton Ave.

This adorable sandwich shop is perfect for a quick tasty meal.

Each sandwich begins with your choice of a plain, sesame or poppy seed Montreal Style Bagel, followed by a layer of fresh house made Lox, and a "schmear" of plain or flavoured cream cheese UNLESS the daily special catches your eye like it did for me today! Lox + Schmear you had me at "The Tuna!" It was so good I didn't want it to end........which means, see ya soon mmmkay?
